I have bunions and hammertoes. I also have a neuropathy. These shoes are too firm for my feet.

I bought these for a trip to Europe. They did double duty: dress shoes for warm evenings and spa slides for the sauna. I have wide feet and high arches, and the shoes felt like they were custom-molded just for my feet. I wear a size 10 in American sizes and a 41 in European, and the 41 was perfect.

My difficult feet are so happy in the Ecco Cozmo Slides. My feet were smiling from the first wear! I now have two pairs, different colors, and will probably purchased the third color soon. Purchased my first pair in Rose Dust while traveling in Europe. If I had ordered online I probably would have ordered the 10-10.5, since I was able to compare sizes in the store, I purchased the 9-9.5 and they are perfect. I generally wear a 10 Narrow but sometimes a 9.5 in open toe shoes. Since these slides have two good/strong adjustable straps I’m able to wear a Medium width. I just received my second pair, from Zappos, in the Limestone, also size 9-9.5, they fit perfectly. Additionally,, the leather footbed is optimal for me since my feet sweet and suede gets stinky after awhile. One note, the description of the Cozmo slide in Limestone says that the shoes have a soft suede footbed however, the footbed is actually leather-covered in both the Limestone and Rose Dust.

I ordered these because I wanted some slip on sandals that were like Birks but cuter, and these have exceeded my expectations. The moment I tried them on I didn’t want to take them off, they were so comfortable. The footbed is molded with nice arch support. The neutral color (limestone) and shiny hardware make them a little dressy, so they elevate casual outfits and work with dressier outfits. The silver “buttons” are kind of comically large but I love them, they add an element of cheeky elegance and edge.
The straps needed a bit of breaking in to stop rubbing my toes the wrong way, but now they’re great. True to size.
