I love Ecco shoes. I have been wearing them for years. Lately, they are not fitting as well as they used to. I have always been a 39. With this shoe, the 39 was very short and the 40 was flopping off my feet! I wish they had a 39.5. They are lovely shoes, and if they had fit, seem like they would be very comfy and supportive.

I have a ton of the Ecco Soft style shoes. This loafer seemed to run about a half-size larger — maybe the wedge heel makes a difference versus a flat shoe. I love the dark blue color and stylish loafer. Toe box had enough room, which is often a concern with a tailored loafer. I couldn’t make these work for me, though. With socks, they were still a bit too big. With hose, they were way too roomy. The mid section above the arch poofed out when I walked. Sorry to send these back.

I could not find a good fit with these beautiful, practical, shoes. Size 9-9.5 slipped off my heel with every step; 8-8.5 pinched my toes. The color, “topsoil,” is a lovely, rich brown with soft sheen. I regret that this style will not work for me.
