like the shoes, style was good for me. Just too big!

My Ecco Seattle slip on’s have been in service since October 2014. I also have a pair of Ecco Berlins that I bought in around 2009 that I still wear. I wear these shoes to work every day. The Seattle Slip Ons have been re-heeled a few years ago. I was looking for a new pair, but the Seattle is no longer carried. I just got these Helsinki slip on’s, and my initial examination reveals that they are nearly identical in style and construction to the Seattle. My Seattle’s were a size 44, and I ordered these Helsinki’s in a size 44. My impression on the fit is that the Helsinki is a little more snug than the Seattle and Berlin. I noticed that the insert said “Dual Fit Insoles.” I pulled out the insole and below it was another insole. I removed the lower insole and the fit seemed just like my well worn Seattle shoe. I decided to put the lower insole back in and try it out like that for awhile. I’m wearing the shoes now, and they feel comfortable. FWIW, my shoes were made in Portugal. I’ve heard discussion about some of the Ecco manufacturing being done in China, and people were unhappy with the quality. I’ve got nothing against China (in fact my Ecco Seattle’s pictured here have walked the Great Wall twice), but I thought that I would let you all know the country of origin on these as it seems to make a difference for many users. I will report back if I have any issues with these. If this review helped you out, please take a second to hit the helpful button for me so that this review will continue to be seen. Thanks!

Size and fit great but after only a month they look terrible

I have been wearing ECCO shoes for 30 years and what I received could not have been an ECCO shoe, even though it was on the label. It was stamped a 43 which in prior years was a spot on automatic fit for me. Now it is a range from 9.0-9.5 and the shoe it too tight. It is the first ECCO I have ever had where my heal comes out of the shoe at every step. I am very disappointed if this is truly an ECCO shoe. The sole? It looked like one piece plastic and feels like one piece plastic. I do not recommend this shoe.

I have been looking for a shoe with some style and comfort. This shoe is IT! Having a wide foot, I was thrilled I could pull out the extra insert for the perfect fit!

Over several years have ordered this style on multiple occasions.
They never fail to deliver excellent fit and looks.

Show was large and loose. Quality of the material has gone down and would not break in. Shoe pinched in multiple spots. Terrible shoe. My old pair is 4 years old and far better even partially worn out. Need to find a different brand it appears

Very good fit and extremely comfortable. Soft and flexible.

This is my second pair and they fit perfectly. I slipped them on and there was no break in just comfort from the beginning.

They are very nice and feel good on my feet.

Good quality and properly sized. This is replacing an existing pair of the same shoe that my husband likes.

Love these shoes now have them in multiple colors

I returned the shoes because the color was not as shown at your picture/website. The picture shows a “cognac” color, and the shoes that you sent were like a orange/brown color…..not nice!, not elegant like the color you show at your website.

I bought two different pairs of shoes these, and the Johnston & Murphy XC Flex Raleigh Chukka. I thought he might like one and return the other. He likes them both! He needs something that looks decent with a suit, but is also comfortable enough to be on his feet and walking many miles in them. So happy both fit the bill!

I was very happy with my shoes until the soles started to crumble. I contacted Ecco and they say their warranty only covers their products for 1 year. So apparently after years of being a happy Ecco wearing customer, I am told that Ecco no longer stands behind their shoes after 1 year. A pair of dress shoes should not fall apart after a few years of light wear. So disappointing!

I have been wearing ECCO Apron Toe Slip-Ons (Helsinki, Seattle, etc.) since 2016 and really wear these shoes to the ground. As a 6’3” guy with high arches and a somewhat wide foot, these are comfortable, fairly durable and are great for the business professional who needs to walk a good bit.

I was a bit freaked out when I first tried the shoes on and they were way too tight. I remembered these come with an insole already inserted. Once I pulled that out they fit perfectly.

I’m a bus driver and I’ve kicked the hell out of these shoes for a good couple months now. They’re super comfortable. I really like how Ecco doesn’t have all these little gimmicks intended to make your shoe comfortable and yet they turn out to be torture. Nope. Not with these Ecco’s. They’re on my feet 16 hour days and they’re still looking great. Take a lickin’ and keep on tickin.’ A little polish and a shine and they’re still looking nice and fresh. No laces. Really convenient. Love the slip on. Worth every penny. Solid. Well-constructed shoes. Withstanding a lot of use and abuse. Nice and light. And my feet feel perfectly fine after a long day tearing it up on the public transit system. No aches and pains. Not sore.

Amazing shoes I can’t wait to wear them at work
