This shoe is an update of the ECCO Helsinki Bike Toe shoe. I like the original slightly better as this one seems to slip a little on my heel. Perhaps that will lessen as it gets broken in. I like ECCO shoes.

Advertised as an American six and a half only to find out it’s truly a European size 40 which is a size 8 in American not correctly sized

I’m a 9.5 and ordered the size 43. The shoes fit well and not loose. In my line of work, I stand up to 4 hours straight in the morning and afternoon…the shoes are comfortable throughout the day.

Good fit. Plenty of room in toe area. Has removable insole if you want to use orthotics.

I’ve been buying these shoes for over a decade. But clearly, Ecco has started cutting corners. This pair is made from a thinner, lower quality leather, and the stitching is different. The shoe looks and feels cheap. It also is a completely different fit than those I have ordered in the past (wide, long). Really disappointed.

Will need some breaking in; the creasing across the toes / top of the foot on first wears is more stiff than comfortable, but hopefully these will become as slipperlike as previous ECCO shoes have proven to be.

bizzare, I have several other ecco shoes this size that fit fine,. I even have a pair of Helsinki 2 ECCOs this size that fit great, but this pair was unbearably tight across the midfoot

I’ve bought this shoe almost every year since 2007 and have found them to be extremely comfortable for walking. They’ve been my go-to shoe for international travel because of the style and comfort and to blend in with locals. However, this most recent pair (same specs as the last pair) is pinching my feet at the vamp. The shoes are so uncomfortable I’ve stopped wearing them and bought something else. I don’t know what changed, but it’s really too bad.
