   Upon first wearing the shoe seemed a bit longer than other Ecco 45’s. After a time that seemed to disappear and they fit and feel fine. Zappos service, as always, is second to none! nCongratulations to Ecco for producing a quality, stylish shoe with an economical price tag.

   These ECCO shoes run true to the brand. Sizing is a bit larger than normal and the break-in period last about 10 wearing days, but the wait is worth it as the shoe really conforms to your foot and the comfort level beats just about any other shoe available. I have had a pair of ECCOs in my closet for 15 years and even re-soled, they continue to be my favorites.

   A great shoe! Compares favorably to Bostonian, Kenneth Cole, Johnston & Murphy mostly because of the comfort. True to ECCO form, this is a great-looking dress shoe that’s way more comfortable than it looks. I’ll probably buy these again.

   Really comfortable shoes. Eccos are not the best looking dress shoe. They are, nevertheless, near the top in comfort. As I get older, comfort has supplanted style in priority. If you believe similarly and are willing to pay a lot of money for these on sale. I highly recommend them.

   First off Zappos is great. The return policy and ease of returning an item makes online shoe shopping much less worry free. Shipping is fast. I love Ecco shoes. They are incredibly comfortable and light. I walk anywhere from .5 to 1 mile per day to work. I also walk a lot when I get to work. These shoes handle it no problem and my feet feel great. They also look great. Very much a dress shoe for suit and tie but can be worn with jeans and a nice shirt for casual day. Great shoes, great online store.

   Ecco is my favorite brand of dress shoe. I just recently bought this pair to replace my other Ecco’s that wore out after 18 months of use. I wear them 5-6 days a week, so lasting for 18 months is a very long time. I needed a replacement pair ASAP so I ordered these with 2 day shipping. Zappos upgraded my shipping and I received them the next day! That is service. I will always order from Zappos! Thank you for providing me with first class service!

   A few months ago I was looking for a shoe that could do it all: a shoe that could be worn with a suit, with slacks and with jeans. I also needed a shoe that didn’t need a lot of break-in time and was lightweight (I was leaving for a 2 week b-trip to China). This shoe fit the bill and didn’t disappoint. This shoe is comfortable out of the box. The rubber sole makes long working days and walks seem a little shorter. The light weight makes these shoes a dream to pack for business trips. And although it struggles a little to be formal enough for a suit, they can definitely pull it off. Overall, I’m very happy with the versatility and comfort provided by the Ecco NJ Tie. As always, Zappos was a dream to work with.

    My husband has other Eccos, and these just didn’t work for him. He said they were narrower than the other pairs he has, and the inside of the shoe wasn’t as comfortable.

    For Oxford shoes these are very comfortable. Ecco makes an outstanding shoe. Since discovering Ecco I used for work, I now buy Ecco for everything.

    I bought of pair of these in the brown color at a dept store and fell in love with them. So I came onto Zappos and bought the black version. It’s an Ecco and it does not disappoint…lots of comfort. And they are tweeners…can go with casual slacks as well as more more formal dress pants.

    Great shoe, style, fit, comfort all exceptional. The sole is slightly more refined from previous Ecco shoes I’ve had in the past. It is actually black, where in the past they tended to be mostly black but with a slight grey tone. These are perfect.

    So I bought another pair of shoes that just didn’t fit my foot right and they hurt. Zappos took them back several months later without receipt or box and I was so impressed that I bought this pair of dress shoes and by the way I love them. They are very comfortable on my feet and I am a massive Zappos fan because of their customer service.

    The shoes were delivered in 3-4 days (ground) and I was very pleased with the packaging of the shoes. Also, very pleased with the price. I was able to peruse many models of the ECCO line and chose the exact shoe style for my son. It was so easy.

    Wore this shoe every other day for 2 years serving an LDS mission in England. Harsh wet weather conditions and walking up and down streets for 8-10 hours a day. They held up to the very end.

    Comfortable shoe: but I already knew that because they are ECCOs. What sold me on this one was the style and the wonderful coloring of the upper. It does take a couple weeks of every other day use to break in. I wanted a synthetic sole for the rainy days in New Haven, given that my other pair are leather soled Allen Edmonds. This shoe has a high place in my arsenal of footwear.

    I am a heavy walker and usually love my Ecco shoes for comfort. However I was very disappointed with this pair. There seems to be a lot less cushioning than normal especially in the forefoot area causing me a lot of pain when walking. I compared these to a 3 year old pair I have and there does seem to be a change in materials both in the insole used (less cushion) and in the thickness of the sole itself. Please ECCO go back to your previous manufacturer and materials. I would return this pair but unfortunately already walked outside in them thinking I could break them in but that wasn’t the problem.

    Nicely made but be advised -Sizing is way off. A 6.5 men’s is a 38.5 euro. Returned for a smaller size and still huge. Not all men have huge feet! the search continues.

    I have to be honest, I don’t review often. I am the guy that usually only offers a review when I want to help someone else avoid a product. That being said, I have had 2 other pairs (3 if you count my black pair) of this exact shoe, purchased around 2015 and they have been awesome. I need to learn how to take better care of them but, they are without a doubt the most comfortable dress shoe I’ve ever worn.

    THIS PAIR… not so much. It almost feels like it could be a fake shoe. The color was darker than my previous two other pairs and I can’t stand in these for more than an hour without my feet and legs starting to hurt. Put on the old pairs, and I’m still good all day (they just look beat up and ugly).

    I admit, I got these for a steal at just over $57 but had I known they wouldn’t feel like the previous shoes I purchased, I wouldn’t have spent that money on a shoe I can stand in.

    Maybe I just got a bad pair, or a fake pair… hopefully this isn’t the norm for this shoe now.

    I have been buying these ECCO shoes for ages. They’re a great balance of comfort and style. I wear them into the ground walking 5-6 miles a day and then buy a new pair.
