Tried these as the toe box looked wider than most medium shoes. I have problem feet with bunions and arthritis and always buy wide shoes. I also walk 6 miles daily and do Tai Chi. These shoes fit comfortably right out of the box. The bootie with zipper is wonderful and it keeps lacing and extra strapping away from the top of my foot which has arthritic changes. I will order more of this style in the slip on also.

Wanted to love. They fit a little odd. The right shoe was too short and my toes were hitting the top of the shoe, with no room to spare. I have flat feet, which is why I choose Ecco, for their great support, but the arch was so high in the right shoe, that it hit me in the wrong spot and was painful. The left shoe seemed fine. All in all, they did fit a little tighter than I wanted. Good color, good concept, fit was just off all the way around. Too bad.

This is a very cute shoe and I wished they would have worked, but for someone who’s foot runs to the narrow side of medium width to complain they’re too narrow….!!! I think the problem is my high instep, I could barely get them zipped over my foot, they also seem to run a little narrower and shorter than other Ecco shoes I owned. I would have kept them if they fit my instep more comfortably and who knows, they might have stretched enough to be comfortable, I just didn’t want to risk the blisters. I really, really liked the suede leather they are using in these booties, in the past I haven’t always liked Ecco suede, but this has a bit of texture and looked like it would wear well over time. With Zappos return policy I would suggest trying them if you think you’ll like them, just know high instep people who just fit into their european size may have a problem with these.

I love, love, love these shoes! I have been looking for a pair of shoes that are cute, a little funky, and comfortable, to wear with jeans and leggings and these are perfect. They are sooooo comfortable and were from the moment I put them on. I wear and 8-8.5 and the 39 is perfect. I was so happy with them right out of the box and felt like I was walking on air both from comfort and from the fact that they perfectly completed my outfit. I’m now trying to justify buying them in the grey/shale color. They cost a little more than the other casual sneaker-type shoes I’ve been looking at but are totally worth it.

I am a runner and yogi. I have plantar fasciitis and have been in therapy for awhile. (This isn’t my first time with this.) No matter what shoes I wear I have heel pain…except THESE shoes. The very first day I still felt a bit of pain, but now I wear them all day and I literally have no pain. I have an extremely high arch, tiny ankle and wide forefoot and wear a 7.5 in normal shoes, 8 in running shoes. I purchased a 38 and they are perfect. I do not wear a huge heavy sock though. I ordered these in the gray and they are so beautiful and hip. I wear them with skinny jeans and just now ordered the black! The insole is removable. I don’t know yet (I asked the question above), but I think you need a protective coating. (These shoes are not “cushy” like some borns, but “cushy” isn’t necessarily healthy for your feet if you have certain issues.)

My usual Ecco shoe size is a 37, but in these the size 38 provided a little more room in the toe box and were overall a better fit. These are a superb quality beautifully made shoe and well worth the price. Super comfortable as well . One of my best purchases.

I saw someone wearing this shoe and had to ask her what it was. I am usually a pretty solid size 9. Based on some reviews saying it was a little small I got a pair in size 40 and 41. I will say I’m somewhere in between those two sizes – the 40 fits perfectly with no room to spare, I will only be able to wear thin or no socks with it. The 41 was a bit too large, and even with socks I felt the arch hit in the wrong spot so I returned that one. I feel the 40 is a size 8.5-9, the 41 is more like 9.5-10 in my opinion. I purchased the Bordeaux and Shale colors – very accurate color representation on my computer screen. If these weren’t so expensive I’d definitely buy in multiple colors – so cute and comfortable.

The fit is perfect. I rarely find myself saying that about anything. The quality is high, it’s super comfy, and fashionable all at the same time. So glad I got it!

Love this bootie! I’ve only work them around the house, but they don’t feel like they need any break in period. Looking forward to wearing these on my upcoming trip to Europe. I usually wear a 6.5 and the 36 feltl more like a 6.5 and not a 5-5.5 as indicated in the description.

I purchased this shoe for a trip to Spain and Portugal. Originally had ordered my normal size of 10.5 which was too small and had to return for the 11. The arch support is superb and they have a good amount of cushion which worked great over cobblestone streets! This shoe has been perfect straight out of the box. Used for the flight to and from Europe and for most of the long walking days. Perfectly comfortable and stylish. I’ve worn them with leggings, jeans and sporty Athleta sweat pants. Very versatile and highly recommend.

Love these shoes!!! I wore them straight out of the box, with no socks, for an entire weekend. I went to Vegas for the Aerosmith concert, wore them for 2 days nonstop and then the following day for the Kiss concert in Atlanta. After 3 days, 2 flights and 2 concerts I can honestly say I am in love with these. They are worth every penny. I bought a 40 and the length was perfect. I have fairly skinny feet so they are loose but I am used to that. Plenary of room for footies but so not necessary for comfort.

I can’t say enough about ECCO sneakers and boots. I have the navy in suede/nubuck and the black in suede/nubuck and the leather! They are so well-made, versatile (wore them a ton), and actually do keep my toes warm without sweating. They look so classy and yet understated. I love all of mine. These fit very true to size. I did however, learn in one of the stores that I require the 9 1/2 size rather than my usual 10. Not sure if everyone notices this or it is just me. I spray each pair with leather/suede protectant and wear them all through my MI fall and winter without problem. Recent back surgery has me unable to bend over. So I was ecstatic to find these, as I can put on this low cut zip bootie with a gentle lean to one side on each foot. Also, recent years’ snows haven’t been that deep, so all I need is a boot at this height. I do have my eyes on one of ECCOs tall boots though! Get these, you won’t be sorry. They are really worth it.

I ordered the shale/powder bootie in a size 38. I normally wear a 37 (7.5) shoe, but ordered up a size due to a review recommendation and it fits perfectly. If you have a high instep you’ll want to consider ordering up. The color is a dark gray that changes color slightly depending on the lighting or what you wear. At times it almost has a purple hue to it. Very versatile and could be worn with black or brown. Looks great with jeans or leggings. Bought these to wear on a trip to Europe after trying several other brands.

Out of the box perfect fit. I chose ‘Fig’ in 7.5 M. They are super comfortable and stylish. The color is a brownish/maroon. The arch support fits me well.

I like these and they are stylish. The only complaint that I have is that the inside bottom of the shoes is very slick. My feet slide around in them & that makes them not as comfortable as they could be when I am on my feet all day. They are very light weight & cute.

Love these! My new favorite shoes. I didn’t know but Eccos shoes are double-insoles. You can take the top one out and the shoe goes from narrow to wide fit! Awesome!

My second pair of this particular ECCO shoe! First pair inherited from my daughter after her year long trip to Jamaica where she logged on thousand or more miles! I wore them for 3+ years, still going strong and give me the knee support I need, like no other shoe. Finally she insisted I get a new pair of the same shoe. The new pair is not suede but smooth leather on top. Her foot is more narrow than mine, so my first pair were properly “broken in” — I’m wearing the new ones about 3 – 4 hours a day and they are feeling good after a week. A bunch of women of my age (+70) have bought them because of knee support. Great “all ’round” shoe for outdoors, downtown or round-town tasks!
Amy –
Really boring but comfortable and eminently practical shoe. Ordered my normal 41 and they a bit too small. Hoping the 42 fits better.

I was excited to receive these but alas, back they go. They’re too long, and even with socks they slipped around. In addition, they’re just not that attractive. For the price you pay you’d think they could find a way not to have a line down the center of the front of the shoe.
Jt –
Comfortable stylish. Have 39 usually wear 8.5 or 9 in most shoes. For perfect. Great for dress and support after broken foot.

I LOVE this shoe! I felt compelled to write a review because I like them so much. I have 4 pairs right now and have had 6 total (it is sometimes possible to find them on sale!). They are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn and they look good with EVERYTHING. I wear them to work, when I’m going out casually, to dinner, and when I have to walk a lot. I think they are cute with jeans, dresses, short. My only complaint is that at some point the white sole looks a little beat up and they turn into my really casual shoe but they never look really bad, they just don’t look right for work or dinner out. I’m going purchase the black on black for work and hope they don’t look orthopedic. Wish me luck 😉

I love these shoes so much that I bought a second pair after my puppy tried to eat the first. They work in all seasons, and they go with everything… pants, dresses, skirts, short or long.

I love these shoes. I have them in black and gray. Wore them on a week of vacation walking all day long. The shoes are comfortable, and give your feet great support. They start out narrow when you first get them, but they quickly stretch and conform to your foot. Love these shoes!

I am a solid EU 40 in most shoes, medium width, low volume foot. These ECCO Soft 7 Low Cut Zip Bootie were not comfortable at all. Length seemed just a tidge short but the width was quite narrow. In another review someone mentioned if you took out the top insole, there was an “extra width” one below and that the shoe fit better. That is true and it gave more room in the toe box. However, then the arch support and cushioning underneath your foot is gone. If you have a narrow foot these might be comfortable for you. I am returning them. The Marine blue is a pretty color, perfect with jeans.

I’m very glad I read other reviews! Someone mentioned this bootie has 2 insoles. ” If the bootie feels tight, take one out” Well, the bootie was tight so I did exactly that and Voila, now they fit great! Once the leather stretches out a bit (which it will, cause they’re leather!) I’ll put the other insole back in! Right out of box they are very comfortable.
